Psychoanalytic Study on Soo Ro Buin, (Madam Waterway) and Ancient rites.

Abstract
|
|
|
Psychoanalytic study was made between Soo Ro Buin, (Madam Waterway) recorded in Sam Kook Yoosa, Ancient Three Nation´s Stories of Korea and Ancient rites.
The following summation was made;
1) There was no blood stained resolution of Oedipus complex such as parricidal tragity in the psycho￢analtytic study about Soo Ro Buin and Ancient rites.
2) The solution of Oedipus complex on recorded Soo Ro Buin was made with tolerance, compromise and concession. Troubles between father and son were softened with negotiation arranged by an old wiseman, grandfather.
3) Soo Ro Buin is typical ancient female in our country who showed feminine image of active-maternal￢type which was related with religion of the Holy mother in Sil Ra period.
4) Soo Ro Buin was symbolic of Goddess of agriculture, Naiad, God of rain, rice field and water way in Ancient rites in our country. Soo Ro Buin was also related with the rites of initiation, marriage, pregnancy, village and totem.
